Our most deliberate contrast: how cultivar, terroir and the hand of the maker turn the same leaf into two opposite expressions.
What’s inside
- JU-ROKU (16): a three-cultivar blend rooted in Kirishima’s volcanic soil. Careful shading, precise roasting and slow stone-milling bring white chocolate sweetness, nori-like umami and a seamless, creamy finish.
- SHI (4): a single-cultivar matcha built on structure and intensity. Stone-milled to keep its depth, with dense vegetal richness, roasted chestnut notes and a firm umami backbone.

Mastering the Two Extractions.
- 16(JU-ROKU)
Maximizing Aroma and Sweetness
Use 2g of powder with 60ml of water at 70°C. Whisk gently to aerate the tea, allowing the delicate sweetness and ethereal fragrance of Kirishima to reach their peak. - 4(SHI)
Experiencing the Jade Velvet Body
Adopt a two-step extraction style. First, create a smooth paste using 2g of powder and 30ml of water at 60°C. Then, pour 40ml of water at 80°C and whisk powerfully. This technique unveils the intense, full-bodied presence of the "SHI" blend.
Tip
For extra sweetness and umami, whisk with water below 60°C (140°F). Lower temperature reveals a smoother, gentler flavor.
