A sanctuary for the spirit,
a place to meet your life.
精神の安らぎとともに、あなたの人生と出会う場所。
01
The Experience
— 一期一会
One bowl. Two hours.
Into silence.
People from different countries, different lives, have sat in this room. Many said it changed their life. Some could only say: “I have no words.”
We do not explain what happens here.
02
One Principle
— 中今
中今
Nakaima · The Eternal Presence
Not the past. Not the future. Only the middle–now — where every life quietly converges.
When you enter the tea room, you enter Nakaima.
03
The Room
— 茶室
A small room, in a quiet corner of Kyoto.
Built in the sukiya tradition, restored with respect for what came before. Four-and-a-half tatami. A single tokonoma alcove. A window onto a moss garden no larger than the palm of a hand.
The address is shared after booking. The walk from the gate is brief — a few steps across stone, the rustle of bamboo, then silence.
04
The Matcha
— 抹茶
The only matcha of its kind in the world. Three kilograms, once a year.
A special organic matcha from Miyazaki, entrusted to us alone. The highest energy level of any matcha cultivated in Japan.
In its earliest days, matcha was carried to Japan by monks — not as a drink, but as medicine. This is a bowl that still holds that original force.
